The environmental impact of Invasive Carp is a considerable problem for many ecosystems. They consume a lot of the food that other fish rely on. They outcompete the other fish due to their size and numbers. Their presence has been shown to adversely affect the size of other fish in the local waters. Posing a threat to more than just the environment, Invasive Carp can attack humans by jumping at them. This usually happens when people boat over a school of silver carp. The fact they aren't fished does not help this. This is because they have an abnormal bone structure, which makes them hard to prepare, and people don’t know what they taste like. Invasive carp are a problem we should manage.
